2025 Field Training
Schedule
Check back in Spring 2025
Purpose:
Beginner field training sessions are geared towards new
handlers, puppies and young dogs working below the AKC
Junior Hunter level. All breeds are welcome!
Location:
The training sessions will vary locations on private property
near Howell and surrounding areas.
Participation Fees:
$10 for members (limit 3 dogs)
$15 for non-members (limit 2 dogs)
Dog Health Requirements:
All dogs must have documentation of up-to-date vaccinations
or titers. Puppies must be at least 10 weeks old, have
at least two DA2PP/DHPP vaccines and be otherwise healthy
with a negative fecal test within the last year. Please
bring documentation to your first training session.

and related info. For HRLRC members, the same info will
be sent through the regular club Google Group

clothing for weather conditions (including boots,
rain gear, bug spray and sunscreen) |
Flat buckle
collar with short training tab about 10 inches |
Short 6-foot
lead (dogs much be on lead unless being run
or at honor) |
